Five-Needle Protocol (5NP)
I offer the Five-Needle Protocol (5NP), a simple, evidence-informed auricular acupuncture treatment that supports nervous system regulation, stress reduction, emotional resilience, and trauma recovery. This non-verbal, complementary intervention integrates seamlessly with individual and couples therapy, enhancing traditional psychotherapy by creating the physiological conditions for deeper therapeutic work.
In addition to private practice, I provide 5NP treatment and consultation for organizations, healthcare systems, and communities. My experience includes supporting disaster relief and community recovery efforts in the July 4th Hill Country floods in Kerrville and Hunt, facilitating caregiver wellness retreats through UT Health, offering treatment experiences for UTMB staff and medical students at the Grace Community clinic, providing organizational trainings—including programs for the Menninger Clinic in Houston—and offering restorative treatment experiences at wellness conferences such as Dave Asprey's Biohacking Conference in Austin.
I am available to bring 5NP to a variety of settings, including corporate wellness initiatives, leadership and staff retreats, healthcare organizations, professional conferences, community wellness events, inpatient and intensive outpatient (IOP) treatment programs, group therapy practices, and private therapy offices. I also provide training for eligible licensed professionals seeking to incorporate the protocol into their clinical practice through the Texas Medical Board's AcuDetox Specialist (ADS) certification pathway.
Whether offered as a stand-alone wellness experience or integrated into therapeutic treatment, the Five-Needle Protocol provides an accessible, trauma-informed approach to helping individuals regulate the nervous system, cultivate resilience, and reconnect with their innate capacity for healing.
Donate today
Your donation to 5NP Texas helps bring immediate relief and lasting resilience to communities impacted by trauma. Every contribution supports the training and scholarship of licensed helping professionals so they can deliver the Five-Needle Protocol (5NP)—a simple, evidence-informed, non-verbal intervention that helps regulate the nervous system during times of crisis. Donations allow us to respond to natural disasters, equip local providers with sustainable trauma-response skills, and ensure this healing tool remains in the communities that need it long after emergency responders leave. Your generosity also helps provide treatments for veterans, first responders, healthcare workers, and volunteers who carry the emotional weight of serving others, helping prevent burnout, compassion fatigue, and the long-term effects of trauma. Together, we are building healthier, more resilient communities—one person, one provider, and one community at a time.
